Welcome to my TPACK Journey!
The video below (created in Slide Rocket) shows what I have been learning throughout my technological journey. As a teacher, I need to consider the content I want to teach, the pedagogy I to use, and the online tool I want to use to help me teach it. Add them all up together and voilà . . . TPACK!
Slide Rocket is an awesome tool that can easily be integrated into a classroom as a way to engage students. Using a jigsaw strategy, students can prepare presentations for particular topics using Slide Rocket and present them to their classmates. Teachers could provide students with the various links to the presentations, or could post them to the online classroom blog.
Another way to use Slide Rocket in the classroom is creating an Ebook. If given the opportunity in my next block, I would to try this. As a class, we could write a story, and individually each student could create a page of the story. With a couple clicks of the mouse we could add music, as quite easily we could have book that the entire class collaborated on.
