Creating class eBooks is a great way to get to know your students; their likes and dislikes, their interests, their hobbies, the possibilities are endless. Flexible by nature, eBooks can be used for all subject areas. Writers' Workshop would be a perfect way to tie an eBook into the curriculum. Students would be able to go through all the writing processes and create an eBook as their final task. I know that eBooks can be used in Science class, because even though it was eons ago, I created an eBook for my OAC chemistry class on "Buffers".
